Michael J. Giongo

Michael J. Giongo is the Founder and Managing Member of ERX Wealth, LLC, the insurance and risk management business, and Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ERX Wealth Partners, a separate investment advisory business. For more than two decades he has advised physicians, business owners and affluent families whose financial lives bring together significant assets, enterprise interests and responsibilities that span generations.

Michael began his career on Wall Street at Merrill Lynch, where he built and led a successful public finance platform serving municipalities, school districts and foundations, before establishing the independent financial-services practice he leads today. He has been a financial commentator for CBS News and KYW Newsradio, where he became a trusted voice on Federal Reserve policy and the markets, and he was honored to serve on the Board of Governors of the Florida Medical Association.

In 2025, Michael was named to the Philadelphia Titan 100, which recognizes the region’s top 100 chief executives and C-level leaders for exceptional leadership, vision and passion. The honor recognized the breadth of his career and the three principles he holds to for the families he serves: clarity, continuity and control.

At ERX Wealth, LLC, Michael brings this experience to private insurance and risk management, with an emphasis on disciplined evaluation, long-term continuity and the interests of the families and enterprises his clients seek to protect. He remains personally involved in every client relationship and works alongside clients’ attorneys, accountants and other professional advisers.

In 1988, Michael was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles under head coach Buddy Ryan and team president and general manager Harry Gamble. The standards of that locker room, preparation, discipline and accountability, have shaped his professional life ever since.
